Museum to Unveil NM Centennial Exhibit

LAS CRUCES — The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces is about to unveil a much-anticipated exhibition called: “The Land of Enchantment: Commemorating the Centennial of New Mexico Statehood.” The exhibit features the state’s largest collection of statehood celebration memorabilia of past events (40th, 50th, 60th and 75th). October 24, 2011  SANTA FE, NM— The New Mexico Centennial announces an historic steam train, “The Land of Enchantment Centennial Special” will tour New Mexico in honor of the state’s 100th anniversary of statehood.  Steam Locomotive No. 844 is the last steam engine built for Union Pacific Railroad, and will travel from Tucumcari to Lordsburg November 4-9, 2011.
