Los Alamos: The Musick of Shakespeare and his Tyme

The Los Alamos Community Winds, under the direction of Dr. Ted Vives present “The Musick of Shakespeare and his Tyme” with special guests Musica Antigua de Albuquerque Saturday, February 18 at 7:00 pm at Crossroads Bible Church in Los Alamos.

Music will include “The Montagues and the Capulets” by Serge Prokofieff, “Incidental Music from A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream” by Felix Mendenssohn-Bartholdy, “Overture to The Merry Wives of Windsor” by Otto Nicolai, and “William Byrd Suite” by Gordon Jacob as well as selections by Thomas Weelkes, Antony Holborne, John Playford, John Farmer, Thomas Simpson, Giles Farnaby, and Thomas Morley.
