Shoes for Santo Nino

The Shoes for Santo Nino is an opera commissioned by the University of New Mexico and co-produced with The Santa Fe Opera based on the children’s book by Peggy Pond Church.

Presenting partners are the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque where the opera will be performed on Dec. 16 at 7 pm, Dec. 17 at 2 pm and 7 pm and Dec. 18 at 2pm and at the Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe where the opera will be performed on Jan. 6 at 1 pm and Jan. 7 at 3 pm and 6 pm.

Tickets for the Shoes for the Santo Nino will be available at the National Hispanic Cultural Center and Lensic Center for the Performing Arts box offices starting Tuesday, November 1, 2011.  Tickets are free of charge.
